This training class is designed for boxing newbies. You will learn boxing fundamentals starting with your footwork to knowing the 6 basic punches. Coach will teach you how to wrap your hands and work with the jump rope to help you get ready for a full hour boxing training class or just to improve with your boxing skills. No experience necessary!

This is NOT cardio boxing—this is where you learn the art of boxing from the ground up. Each class is carefully designed by our coaches to teach real boxing skills, with a focus on:
-Bag Work & Partner Drills – build combinations on the heavy bag and work with a partner on bag-assisted defense and reaction drills.
-Footwork & Fundamentals – learn proper stance, balance, and movement so you can control distance and position.
-Offensive & Defensive Technique – sharpen your punches, defense, and counters through structured drills using gloves, noodles, and bags.
By training consistently, you’ll learn how to throw punches correctly, how to move, and how to truly box. Every drill reinforces boxing fundamentals while keeping you challenged and engaged.
Requirements: Boxing gloves, hand wraps and a jump rope are mandatory. We do not provide gloves!
Who Can Participate: Adults only, 18+. No experience necessary!
Members who have achieved their boxing fundamentals with our Head Coach recommendation and assessment, will have access to this training. This class is designed to take your boxing skills to the next level. We will work on partner drills and mitt-work. These skills will help you build the confidence to get inside the ring to spar. Boxing gloves, hand wraps and jump rope are required.
This training is for SILVER MEMBERS ONLY, new guests or class pass guests. NO NEW GUESTS OR CLASS PASS.

Peewee Boxing Class (Ages 6–9)
Our Peewee Boxing Class is designed just for kids ages 6 to 9 who want an exciting and fun introduction to boxing. This 45-minute class uses age-appropriate drills, exercises, and games to teach the basics of stance, footwork, and punches—while building confidence, focus, and coordination.
Equipment Required: Youth-sized boxing gloves (made for small hands), hand wraps, and a jump rope. (Proper gloves are available for purchase at the club.)
Our Youth Boxing Training Classes offers a dynamic boxing fundamentals, boxing education, and character building skills to help them gain confidence to achieve their future goals. Kids as young as 10 years old and up to 17 years old.
We focus on making the training as welcoming and inclusive as possible by teaching boxing skills, technique, and self-defense. through teamwork and partner drills.
Our coaches teach acceptance, self-confidence and respect to help our young boxers learn skills that will help them become future leaders.

Our Youth Boxing Training Classes is strictly for Silver/Gold Medal levels only!
In this training class we focus on dynamic boxing fundamentals, boxing education, and character building skills to help them gain confidence to achieve their future goals. We prepared them to start learning nutrition, fitness goals, mental health awareness and tracking of their progress.
Boxing gloves, hand wraps and jump rope are required. Headgear, mouth guard, groin protector for sparring (Gold Medal and Registered Youth Boxers).
At this level, we focus our training on four (4) categories and in the order in which they will be taught.

6. Controlled Sparring
Class Variations: 60 min
Ages 10yrs old up to 17yrs of age.
Where skills are sharpened, not egos. This is controlled, coach-supervised sparring focused on improving timing, defense, and technique—not knockouts. All contact is intentional and with purpose. Expect drills, situational rounds, and feedback between rounds. Perfect for developing ring IQ and practicing new tools in a live but respectful setting.
Club Tech Sparring is reserved for Silver Members who have been training consistently at Legacy Boxing for at least 3 months and have received approval from the Head Coach.
-Sparring is strictly voluntary.
-You MUST have your own headgear, 18oz gloves, groin protector, and mouth guard. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
-All participants must also be approved by the Head Coach, registered with USA Boxing, and have a current passbook — no exceptions.
Test day. Bring your A-game.
This is real sparring for active boxers preparing for upcoming matches. High intensity, high pace, and fight simulation rounds. We match skill and size as closely as possible—but this is not for hobbyists. It’s for competitors. Coaches will use this to evaluate readiness, grit, and ring composure.
Only members of the Fight Team who are registered with USA Boxing are allowed to participate.
-You must be actively competing in amateur boxing.
-Sparring is strictly voluntary.
-You MUST have your own headgear, 18oz gloves, groin protector, and mouth guard. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
-Visiting gyms are welcome, but prior arrangements MUST be made with Coach Yess.
-Boxers will not be allowed to spar unless their coach is present.
All participants must be approved by the Head Coach.
Boxing has no age limit—just experience and grit. Master’s Sparring is designed for men and women 35 years and older who want to step into the ring in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Whether you’re looking to stay sharp, test your skills, or prepare for master’s competition, this program helps you build confidence, sharpen technique, and enjoy the sport at your pace. All participants must be registered with USA Boxing for safety and insurance purposes. This isn’t just sparring—it’s about learning, growing, and challenging yourself with others who share the same passion for boxing.

-Prior approval by head coach for all visiting gyms and boxers.

The Impact Tracker on the bag measures how fast a hit accelerates it. Points are assigned to each hit-the harder you hit, the more points you receive. You can keep your score private or have them on the leaderboard during class.
